The Poppies is an alternative to the typically larger, less personal assisted living facilities. We specialise in the ability to provide a very high standard of care in a smaller, more personalised environment.
Our home is fully furnished and decorated to a high standard. We have a call system in place in each room, ensuring that help is at hand 24 hours a day.
Each room provides spacious accommodation and welcoming facilities, but we encourage you to bring small personal items with you to enhance your room.
All rooms have their own private en-suite bathrooms which include both a bath and shower.
Cosy lounges offer relaxing surroundings, where you will find TVs and quiet areas for reading.
We are aware how important meal times are in our home and we like them to remain a sociable and enjoyable part of the day.
Our experienced cook understands the requirements of elderly people and ensures all meals are prepared from fresh seasonal ingredients.
